Thank you to Tony and the team for all their help and compassion.
My sister (Jan) had attended a funeral of a friend at Lester and Son in Wodonga and loved the way everything was conducted. When Jan passed away we didn’t think of any other Funeral Home and immediately we chose Lester and Son. I found the staff in Wodonga fantastic, at such a trying time for our family all your work was so appreciated.
Amazing professional and caring people.
Tony Egan expertly guided myself and family through the difficult and overwhelming process of burying our loved one. He was compassionate, warm and kind. His knowledge and expertise resulted in us having reduced anxiety and stress throughout the burial arrangements. Sincere thanks, Tony.

Kerrie went that extra, talked about arrangement options, took care to make sure the booklet was the best it could be, made suggestions, flowers were perfect, just what we were expecting.
A funeral service is typically held soon after a passing and may include burial or cremation as part of the ceremony. A memorial service takes place after burial or cremation, sometimes weeks or months later. Some families choose one, while others hold both.
Certain legal and medical steps need to be completed promptly, but the timing of the service itself can be flexible. We’ll explain what needs to happen first and help you choose a suitable date.
We take the time to understand your traditions and preferences, and work closely with local religious and cultural leaders to ensure the service is conducted appropriately.
